World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10, every year. The aim to celebrate the day is for global mental health education, awareness. The day is celebrated on October 10 to advocate against social stigma on mental health issues.

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for the world to come together and begin redressing the historic neglect of mental health,” said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.
