90 years ago today (2/26/28), the late Fats Domino was born as Antoine Domino Jr. The New Orleans based king of early rock ‘n’ roll whose piano-based hits — such as “Ain’t That a Shame,” “Blueberry Hill” and “Blue Monday” — influenced almost all 60’s rockers and was one first R & B artists to gain popularity with white audiences.
