A grieving husband, his wife's ashes across from him in a sparkling glass bottle and a Valentine's Day meal.

The heartbreaking scene depicted in a photo posted to social media has captured nationwide attention, going viral on Facebook with more than 422,000 shares and half a million interactions.

Chasidy Gwaltney's photo from a restaurant near Corpus Christi, Texas, shows the man holding his face in front of a full plate of food at lunch. Two glasses of wine are on the table, one in front of the man and the other in front of glass bottle holding what she says are the ashes of the man's wife.

Gwaltney captioned the photo with a message: "Please love your Sweetheart while you have the opportunity, you never know what tomorrow will bring or take away."
