Will the Royal Baby be born TODAY on St George’s Day?

Prince William and Kate have previously stated that they want to have their third child at home.

This could mean either London's Kensington Palace or Amner Hall, her home with Prince William on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

A royal source told the Express: “Catherine has said she would love to have her baby at home.

"She has discussed it with William and he is being very supportive. They both think it would be lovely for the family to have a home birth, particularly for George and Charlotte.”

Kate had previously given birth to both her previous children, (2013) and Princess Charlotte (2015), in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, Paddington.

The wing was where Prince William and Prince Harry were both born, in 1982 and 1984 respectively.

The baby will be fifth in line to the throne, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's sixth great-grandchild and a younger brother or sister for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate Middleton has had varying time-differences between her two previous children. Prince George weighed only 8 pounds, 6 ounces, being born at 4:24pm, a full 10 and a half hours after the duchess was admitted to St Mary’s.

Prince Charlotte was born in a swift two hours and 34 minutes after the duchess had arrived at the Lindo Wing.

The Duchess is being cared for by consultant obstetrician Guy Thorpe-Beeston, who is the surgeon-gynaecologist to the household, and consultant gynaecologist Alan Farthing, the Queen's surgeon-gynaecologist - part of the trusted team who delivered George and Charlotte.

Highly-trained midwives will also be on hand, while experts will be waiting in the wings in case of an emergency. For her previous births, Kate had a 23-strong team of top medics working or on standby.

Katie Halliwell, a psychic medium and public speaker predicted that Kate will give birth to a baby boy today.

She said: “I think she will give birth today. She will have a beautiful baby boy weighing 8lb 1oz.”

Leading bookmaker Coral cut the odds on Kate and Prince William’s new baby being born today, on St George’s Day into 6-4 (from 3-1).

John Hill, from Coral, said: “There has been a huge gamble over the last few days on the royal baby being born on St George’s Day which now looks highly probable according to the latest betting.”
