Baltimore's Cava Mezze restaurant is known for serving up modern takes on traditional Greek dishes. When a large group of international colleagues from Oath, a subsidiary of Verizon, dined there last Tuesday night, they certainly experienced a twist on classic Greek dining.
The group placed four orders of Saganaki — fried cheese prepared in a frying pan. The restaurant staff had a special presentation of the dish, which included lighting the pans on fire before parading them out to the customers.
Once the dishes are up in flames, everything goes downhill pretty quickly.
