“I know that lawyers are quite worried about it and I think appropriately.”

— Malcolm Gladwell, author of “The Tipping Point,” in a bonus episode of his podcast, “Revisionist History,” when asked about jobs being replaced by artificial intelligence. 

Initially asked about the impact of A.I. on blue collar jobs, Gladwell responded:

“Are blue collar jobs the ones that are going to be replaced by A.I., or are white collar jobs going to be the ones that are going to be replaced by A.I.? That would be my first question. I keep hearing really interesting predictions that focus more on the displacement of [jobs that are more] cognitively complex.”
