In the upcoming animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, there is a whole multiverse filled with different kinds of Spider-Men. And while we were in Earth-616 on Saturday at the Javits Center, there were so many different Spider-cosplayers, it felt a little bit like we were living in an alternate Marvel reality.
The most crowded day of New York Comic Con produced a true melange of great costumes, both at the night's formal competition and on the very busy floor. Along with the many Spider-people (including some meme-ready paired costumes), we were greeted by big kaiju, Captain Marvels, video game heroes, and even some adorably costumed puppies.
You really can't go wrong with superhero puppies.
