Students At Leslie Co. School Go Viral With Veterans Day Performance

LESLIE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – A Veterans Day performance by fourth and fifth graders at W.B. Muncy Elementary in Leslie County brought tears to the eyes of everyone in attendance.

A video of the performance has been shared over 94,000 times. The students performed to Lee Greenwood’s patriotic anthem “I’m Proud To Be An American.” Part of the performance was done in American Sign Language.

The big finish included read and white rolls of paper and a Statue of Liberty. You can watch the amazing performance below.
