RED BANK, NJ – East Bergen Avenue, east of Broad Street, was closed today as the gas company was out checking on an old unused gas line.

They cut a hole in the gas line, checked for water and debris and then closed it up.

As of 5:00pm the trenches were filled and paved and the road looked to be opening soon.
