MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
The local father whose dance with his daughter at her wedding has gone viral has passed away.
Last week, we showed you this video Mary Bourne Butts and her father Jim Roberts shared a special dance during her wedding back on December 29th.
Jim was in the final stages in his battle against terminal brain cancer. He held on long enough to attend his little girl's special day.
That dance has gone viral, being shared hundreds of thousands of times.
We've learned Jim lost his battle with cancer Thursday.
Our hearts are with the family.
