A creative way to cancel class from the leaders of Swartz Creek Community Schools near Flint. 

"It's a snow day, a winter cold day, stay home and just play, it's a great family day," the district's high school principal and superintendent sang to the tune of Hallelujah in a YouTube video announcing the Wednesday closure. 

Swartz Creek High School Principal Jim Kitchen and SI Ben Mainka nailed their rendition of the classic, maintaining perfect pitch throughout.

About 130,000 had viewed the 3-minute video by Wednesday afternoon.
