Rosiane Santos was arrested by ICE agents on Tuesday and may soon be deported
The woman seen in a viral video knocking a Trump supporter's Make America Great Again hat off his head may soon be deported after being picked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on Tuesday.
Rosiane Santos, 41, was involved in a row with 23-year-old Bryton Turner at Casa Vallarta Mexican restaurant in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
Turner used his smart phone to record part of the confrontation with Santos, where she grabbed the hat from his head.
Police first arrested Santos on February 15, and charged her with disorderly conduct, assault and battery.
But ICE agents said they took Santos into custody on Tuesday because she's actually an 'unlawfully present citizen' from Brazil.
ICE spokesman John Mohan told CBS News: 'Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses.
'She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.'

Turner used his smart phone to record part of the confrontation with Santos, where she grabbed the hat from his head.
Santos has since been released from ICE custody, and ordered to appear before an immigration judge.
Make America Great Again is the campaign slogan of President Donald Trump, whose hardline policy stances and rhetoric on illegal immigration have resulted in some Americans viewing the red MAGA baseball cap as offensive.
The president's supporters, on the other hand, view MAGA apparel as a symbol of patriotism.
In the video, Santos can be seen knocking Turner's hat off his head before verbally harassing him moments later.
'See this right here? This is the problem,' Turner said in the video after his hat was knocked off. 'Ignorant people like this. I'm just trying to sit here and eat a nice meal.'
Later in the video, Santos is seen being arrested by police as Turner looks on and taunts her.
He says: 'Rosie's not doing too hot right now. I don't know what happened. She was trying to grab my hat in front of four officers. That's not smart. Now she's getting cuffed. Have a nice night in the cell, Rosie.'

After the incident, Santos defended herself to Boston 25, saying she had been provoked.
She said: 'I had a little bit to drink maybe that’s the reason that I couldn’t walk away but being discriminated for so many times in my life, I just had to stand up for myself.
'He’s not a victim. I am the victim. I have been bullied, okay?'
ICE agents deported more than 256,000 people in 2018, a decrease from the record number of people deported annually under the Obama administration.
Turner told WBZ in Massachussetts that the MAGA hat is 'just a hat at the end of the day.'
He said: 'I don’t really understand why people can’t just express themselves anymore, everybody has to get mad.'
