Today is International Tea Day, it is being observed every year on December 15. The aim of International Tea Day is to raise awareness of tea trade. The debut International Tea Day took place in New Delhi, India back in 2005. In the year 2015, the Indian government proposed the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization to make the day a bigger observance around the world.
