Lito Asuncion

Lito Macatbag Asuncion, 69, of Hilo, died June 23, 2020 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired program planner for elderly affairs in the counties of Kauai and Hawaii, former manager and co-owner of Prince Kuhio One Hour Photo in Hilo, co-founder, first president, and advisor of Sariling Gawa Youth Council, and former officer and member of several Filipino and professional organizations in Hawaii.

He is survived by wife, Mildred Macugay Asuncion; son, Rico Macugay Asuncion; sisters, Guillerma Cabie of West Covina, California, and Gloria (Feliciano) Bautista of Diamond Bar, California; brothers, Edward Lee (Fidela) Asuncion of Honolulu, and Nestor (Chandell) Asuncion of Hilo; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lynda Dela Rosa

Lynda Dela Rosa, 76, of Kailua-Kona, died June 24, 2020 at Kona Community Hospital. Born May 8, 1944, in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a retired housekeeper at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, former Keauhou Beach Hotel, Royal Seacliff, and a member of the Ilocano Ancestry Club.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. July 10 at Dela Rosa’s residence at 74-5060 Kealapua St. in Kailua-Kona for an all-night vigil. Friends may also call at 9 a.m. July 11 at Kona Outdoor Circle for a 10 a.m. service. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. The family requests casual attire.

She is survived by son, Lyndon Dela Rosa of Kailua-Kona; brother, Benito (Ludina) Castillo of Waipahu, Oahu; sisters, Cris (Deo) Santiago of San Diego, Ninita (Rey) Labo of Philippines, and Milagros (Pedro) Tungpalan of Kailua-Kona; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tsugio Miyashiro

Tsugio Miyashiro, 90, of Captain Cook, died June 22, 2020 at Straub Medical Center. Born April 12, 1930, in Hawi, he was a groundskeeper.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. July 10 at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa for a service. Casual attire.

He is survived by sister-in-law, Tszemei Miyashiro of Captain Cook; numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

Margo Branco

Margo Lorelei Victorine Branco, 77, of Hilo, died June 7, 2020, at The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was a retired customer service representative with the Matson Navigation Co., a former operator with Hawaiian Telephone and member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. July 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for visitation. Casual attire is requested and the family asks that flowers be omitted.

She is survived by companion, Leo Crivello of Hilo; son, Stephen (Noe Farm) Branco of Hilo; daughter, Jennifer (Daryl) Nicholson of Canada; brother, Clyde (Valerie) Victorine of Hilo; sisters, Beverly Chow of Hilo and Marylou DeLuz of Mountain View; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
