Recently, we reported about the upcoming white rhinoceros births at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, we are pleased to announced that Kendi gave birth today to a baby boy rhino!
This delivery is the first of three births expected at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The beautiful white rhino was up, walking, and nursing within an hour of birth. His father, Dugan, must be a proud father!
This successful birth is even more special when considering that white rhinos are an endangered species. Some of this calf’s activities will be featured in the docuseries, “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” on Disney+. Be sure to keep an eye out for the episode featuring Kendi and her newborn.
