Rodolfo “Papito” Lara Jr.

Rodolfo “Papito” Lara Jr. died late Wednesday evening, July 26, 2023 at ECMC Hospital in Buffalo, NY. He was born in Dunkirk, NY on July 14, 1989 to the late Rodolfo and Migdalia Lara Sr.

He was a graduate of the Cassadaga Jobs Corp Center and owned Testimony Inc. that incorporated “Tattoos by Papito” on Instagram, “Papito’s World” on You Tube, and “Papito Gordo 89” on TicTock. His tattooing business was on Lake Shore Drive, East in Dunkirk, NY.

Rodolfo will be deeply missed by his Grandmother, Nilda Jaime, sisters, Maria Marti and Carmen Rosa Maria Lara Contreras, brother, Rodolfo Bobby Lara, Jr.

He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Angel Ricardo Marti, Tamaris Taylor, Jr., Marlene Marti, Naomi Marti, Analyce E. Pereira Lara, Sabrina O. Lara, Samantha M. Lara, and Alaya Marti.

Rodolfo also leaves behind his uncle, Juan E. Contreras, Jr., and cousins, Juan E. Contreras III, Omar Contreras, Destiny Contreras, Lynn-Marie Contreras, Betti-Don Contreras, Angelica-Lynn Schumaker, and Tatiana Contreras.

Besides his parents, Rodolfo was predeceased by his Grandfather, Juan E. Contreras, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held August 3 at 11:00 AM at the American Legion Post 62, located at 211 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery, followed by a reception, at the American Legion Post 62.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Michael R. Fantauzzi, Owner and Director, of the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME, 82 East Main Street, Fredonia, NY.
