(KNOE) - A same-sex kiss aired during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has gone viral. The kiss happened during a performance called "The Prom" and featured two female performers kissing while surrounded by dancers.
It's being called the first same-sex kiss broadcast during the Thanksgiving Day Parade. A Google search Friday evening showed several outlets reporting on the historic event.

Not everyone was happy about the kiss, though. Some groups thought the kiss was inappropriate for TV during that time.
