MOSCOW -- The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will continue to use Russia's Soyuz spacecraft to bring astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), the head of Russia's space corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said Thursday.

"Statements made by Americans that they will soon use their own spacecraft turned out to be somewhat hasty. We now have requests from our U.S. partners to continue using our spacecraft for transporting their astronauts," Rogozin told Russian news agency RBC in an interview.

NEW DELHI -- Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat Thursday said there was need to bring situation of restive Indian-controlled Kashmir under better control.

"As far as situation along borders is concerned, let me tell you we have managed the situation well both on our northern front and on the western front and there should be no cause for concern," Rawat said.

"As for as the internal security is concerned, you all are well aware, we are gradually moving forward to being the situation under better control. I am not saying the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under complete control, it needs to be brought under better control." Enditem
