Another animal has been welcomed into Disney’s Animal Kingdom family, as a Nile Hippopotamus has given birth just yesterday to a new calf.

Lucky guests we able to spot the new baby yesterday while riding Kilimanjaro Safaris. The mother was nursing its child in a pool near the river bank.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom also recently welcomed a baby giraffe born last month. We expect Disney Parks Blog to share more information about the new baby animal in the coming days.
